IT'S THE HIGH SCORE BOARD! FOR SCORING MANY, MANY WAVES.
In the direction of a groveler so it has a plump outline but High Score is a performance shortboard. There is a performance narrowing from the centre to the nose, reducing getting stuck on the lip. A wide outline from the back to the centre for speedy gliding. A fully rounded thumb tail useful for smooth carves and flowing turns.
BOTTOM CONTOURS
Single concave in the centre to lift the board as it picks up speed. Towards the fins a double concave starts and continues out the tail, this spine in the centre counteracts the wide, gliding tail outline, and keeps the feel of turning easy.
Sizing: ride a couple of inches smaller than your everyday board.
MULTIPLE ROCKERS
The interaction of the bottom contours and rocker allow the water to flow quicker out the back, speed generation!
The rail rocker line doesn't follow the centre rocker line. The rail rocker is a continuous banana curve for smooth turns and stability in a small steep wave curl. The centre rocker has a flat speed box under the front foot which continues as a straight line out to the tail, expelling water.
CARBON FIBRE BLANK
This board begins with an EPS blank with a carbon fibre stringer, the concept has been developed by Dan Mann. The stringer runs flat throughout the length of the board and reaching out to the rails. The effect is an energising feeling of recoil when pushing and twisting out of turns. This board will live longer than a board made from a wood stringer which tire from repeated flexions.
