Rapture was my first shorter board, at 6'2" she isn't tiny but a great starter for my home waves in North Wales, I asked Ben for a learner style short board and that is what I got. Rapture is buoyant so she catches waves easily but also manoeuvres well when caught. Amongst these useful traits of the board there is one more, with the right weight I have been able to learn to duck dive the board, though I am not the lightest for my size. Rapture has been a fantastic and quick stepping stone, I know if I had just gone for a shorter board and less buoyant one I would not have been able to progress so quickly, Rapture has allowed me to go out in all types of waves and works well in all of them which in North Wales is the only way to progress!"​
